Trading Statuses

Share Trading lists a number of statuses that help you better understand the current status of buy/sell orders.

Qualifying

Qualifying indicates the order is being fully fulfilled with the current Market Clearing Price.

For example, if you have an order of 1,000 shares at $1.00, if the trading event ended right now, you will transact the full 1,000 shares in your order.

Partially trading

Partially trading indicates that only a the shares are qualified for trading. This means that there aren't enough shares on the other side of the market to completely fulfil the order.

For example, if you have an order of 1,000 shares at $1.00, if the trading event ended right now, you might only partially transact 500 out of the 1,000 shares in your order, as there is only 500 eligible shares on the other side of the market.

Unqualified

Unqualified indicates that none of the shares in the order qualify for trading. This can indicate that there aren't enough shares on the other side of the market, or the listed share price may be set too high (in the case of selling shares), or too low (in the case of buying).
